Our Little Monkey

I know this is a little late for a Halloween post but I've not been in a blogging mood the last few days. Kylee has been fighting a fever since Friday. I have been a little off. This morning when I got up I had a fever of 100.2, took some Tylenol and now I am good again. We are not sure of the signs of that Piggy flu. I've heard so many different sides to it, who do you believe? Is there anyone out there that was actually diagnosed with it, and what were your symptoms?

Our city celebrated Halloween on Sunday with a parade and trick or treating. Felicity was so darn cute in her monkey costume. This is the kind of costume the kids have to wear here in Wisconsin for Halloween. None of those cute skimpy little outfits. Why do they even sell those in the stores around here? You know you're from Wisconsin when..............you shop for a costume that you can fit a snowsuit under it! Don't let this picture fool you, it was only in the 40s and windy.

  1. Hope the pig flu stays far away from your fam! And that costume is the most precious thing ever!

  4. Look at that cute little monkey! I had to laugh about being able to fit the snowsuit under the costume. We have been very lucky for the past few years. Not even a coat needed:)

I hope you are feeling better soon. I was just talking to my husband about that exact thing. We don't know what is what. We just got an email from the schools about ILI (Influenze Like Illness) What in the world is that?! Fever, fatique, sore throat, cough, lasting 4-5 daysis what it said. Isn't that just like the flu? It's so confusing what to look for in the swine flu.

  11. So sorry you feel rotten. I wasn't allowed IN to the doctor because they told me that everyone in our county that had the symptoms had the swine flu.

I hope you feel better soon!

  12. Oh I hope you all feel better. I think it comes on strong with a high fever that lasts 5-7 days. Chest pain, chills, aching etc...sounds miserable. Hopefully you just have the run of the mill cold.

  14. Love the costume. I have not posted about Halloween yet. You can stop by my blog and find out why. Anyways, my 2 1/2 year old was diagnosed with the piggy flu although she was not tested, so I don't know that she actually had it. Her symptoms were fever and just real lethargic. Didn't want to do anything by lay around. Once we started the Tamiflu she was back to normal, that is why I say I am not sure she had it although she has started snorting since she had it, lol!! Hope you all get better.
