Big Ball...Little Girl

A couple weekends ago we decided to give bowling a shot. Brian and I haven't been bowling for many years. On a good day I bowl around a 60. I know, pretty good right?

Since we had the little ones bowling with us they put the bumpers up in our lanes. Guess what score I got using the bumpers? Yep....a whole 92. I think I should join a bowling league.

 Wait for it...

Almost got them all. I think her score was better than mine.

Guess what we woke up to this morning?
I think I'll head out to pick out a Christmas tree....

  6. I think I would be the perfect bowling companion for you. I didn't even know they could put up bumpers.

  8. My daughter is really getting into bowling now and it is a lot of fun. Like you I am pretty hopeless and at our bowling alley they magically put up the bumpers just for her go so she wins and scores about twice what I manage to do!

I am finding it hard to believe parts of the US are still getting snow - here we are set for mid 80's for the rest of the week.

  9. That is a very large bowling ball. We take the kids but it tends to be a gong show. Still fun but exhausting.

We just had that snow. I feel your pain!

  12. Looks like she enjoyed herself. They didn't have those bumper things when I learned many decades ago.

We drove through Medford last week on our way to meet our son in Tomah. I'm so jealous that your town has a Taco Bell. I'm unsuccessfully trying to convince my husband that maybe it's our destiny to open a Taco Bell Franchise in Ashland.

    Have a great Easter.

  13. I love bowling with friends. We do it so randomly that it's always such fun. When I was in middle school a friend and I played on a league. Still can't believe we did that. Must have been the cute boy behind the counter who handed out the shoes.

    Merry Christmas!
