We took a week's vacation and rented a cabin in Hayward. This is the second year we have done this in September. The cabin's a half price and we love the fall colors. No swimming but the rest of it makes up for that. We just love the quality time we get with our family and friends when we are there. This picture is from the first night there. Only Cole, Tracy, Felicity, Brian, and I went for the first two night. We took Felicity out on the deck overlooking the lake, it was beautiful. We enjoyed the quiet time, knowing the rest of the week would be full of action and activities.
Andy and Kylee can always be found together when he is around. She loves to be with him and doesn't get to see him much since he is gone out of town all week for work.
Cole was hitting golf balls from the shore into the lake. We all took turns walking around in there fetching balls. You could walk way out into the water, it was that shallow, crystal clear, sandy bottom, and COLD!
We went to the Muskie Museum. I didn't really like it up in this fish, it moved too much for me.
We ate a couple times at the original Famous Daves restaurant. The food is great and you sure left there feeling full. Here is Jordan, Kylee, and Casey riding the merry go round. Casey is still a kid at heart.
