Flashback Friday

Here's some more gems I found this week. These were actually Polaroid pictures so the quality is really terrible. The pictures actually peeled apart when I was scanning them.

We may have been weird, but we sure knew how to have fun when we were together. These are some of the same friends from this post I did last August. I would have to say we look much better in our forties than we did as teens.

Catching Up

We colored eggs a few days before Easter, (I know, I'm a little late with this one). Felicity loved it and was actually pretty good at it.

But she did NOT like her hands being dirty. She's a princess, you know.

After a week of our house being "plugged in" we finally got all the power and phone lines buried again. There sure was a lot of equipment and men here, but it only took an hour!

When Brian mowed the lawn for the first time last week he found a nest of baby bunnies right in the grass.

I got to spend the last two days with this face. We had a great time, just the two of us.

And finally.....Jack is really smiling a lot now. I love when a baby's personality starts to show.

Playing Fetch with Chip

Felicity loves to play with our dog Chip. The other day we taught her to throw his toy for him. The problem is she can only throw it about 3 feet. Even though I'm sure that is not what Chip wants, he still got it for her every time. He even waited so patiently between throws while she got "ready" to throw it.

Did I Forget?

Last night we got home from Eau Claire to find we had no electricity. We called everyone around us and they had power. What? The first thing going through my mind is "Oh my! Did I forget to pay the bill?" I knew for sure that wasn't the case......maybe.

It turned out the cable running into our house was shot. They worked until 11:30 last night running a temporary cable on top of the ground. It's a little freaky having that big cable just laying across our front lawn. It looks like our house is "plugged in"

Our phone line is also not working. If you need to get a hold of us before Monday you'll have to call our cell phones.

While looking for Flashback pictures I cam across this set of priceless pieces of art. I couldn't post just one, the whole set had to be shown. Of course the quality is terrible but I still get a kick out of them. Check out my Budweiser beer shirt.....
