One of the Reasons I Have Gray Hair to Color

As you all know Andy has stepped into the world of truck driving. How come a Mom still worries when they are grown adults? This is why. Yesterday he rolled his ankle while working. At first we thought it was broken. He is in Georgia so he hasn't seen a doctor at this point. He is supposed to unload another load from his truck today. How in the world is he going to do that? Can't I just fly there real quick like and ice and wrap it for him? (the picture is from his cell phone, hence the bad quality)

Fun in the Dells

The girls went to spend the night in the Dells as part of Casey's bachelorette party. Of course they had to do the "Old Fashioned Picture." Has everyone done this at one point of your life? We sure have. You get to go into a tiny dressing room that the curtain doesn't really close, take your clothes off and put on an outfit that has been worn by thousands of people before you. I cringe at the thought of who has worn it before me. The photographers are usually not very patient when you have a group. They do it day after day, tourist after tourist. But ever time we have gone, we had a blast. Put the yucky thoughts behind you and have fun!

Ode to Dale

We had another rough day around here. Dale has been sick for about 3 weeks. Brian took him to the vet about two weeks ago. He was put on antibiotics and steroids. They said they weren't sure what was wrong with him. He was losing a lot of weight. Brian nursed him with his medication and special foods for the last two weeks. He was eating but not getting any better. The last three days he quit eating and drinking. Today he went to doggie heaven to meet all his friends there. This past year we have had a hard time with dogs. Cole and Tracy lost Jake, Andy and Casey lost Tink, and now Dale.

Love This Face

I got to spend the weekend with this face. She spent the night Friday and Saturday while Tracy was at Casey's bachelorette party. We stayed home most of the time, except going to Andy's a couple times to check on the lawn planting progress. We also went to Patti's for a little bit Saturday evening. I don't get anything productive done when she's here, we have playing to do. There are about 50 more pictures from the weekend but this was my favorite.

Photoshop Fun

I've been playing in Photoshop again the last few days. I found some more cool buttons. I can't list what I did to these photos because I have no idea. The texture buttons are my new favorite. You can really see it up in the right hand corner in the sky.

I love the way the grass looks on this picture, again I am not sure what I did to make it look like this. The final picture is pretty cool.

On the Move in a Tutu

Kylee and Felicity were playing dress up. They were both ballerina girls. I tried to get them to pose for a picture but Felicity wasn't cooperating.

Here she was standing still for a second but looking up at Kylee.

Now that she is walking, it is hard to get her to hold still for even a second.

This would be really cute if it wasn't blurry, but of course she was on the move.


Here she finally stopped for a second but the lighting is bad and it is still kind of blurry. Oh well, maybe next time.

Another Creepy Disgusting Gross Post

Here we are sitting on the front porch with our morning coffee and what does Tigger bring up to us?

This thing is still alive and she just hangs out and plays with it. It was screeching and trying to get away but she caught it again every time.

She wasn't even very concerned that it was going to get away from her.


By this time I am totally freaked out. I kept telling her to get rid of it. Brian said she brings them to us to show us that she is catching them. ............................... I think we need an exterminator!!

Church at the Park

This week we had service in the park. The weather was beautiful and we had a great turn out. When Pastor Pete did his children's sermon I had to take a picture. It was just so cute with all those kids sitting there on the grass.

Love the Boots

What can I say? This girl is always "stylin." She never just hangs out in comfy clothes. There are clothes in her closet that sometimes she grows out of before she even wears them. I wish these boots came in my size.

Kristen & Dave's Wedding

We went to a wedding in St Paul, MN this weekend. Kylee's big sister Kristen got married in Rice Park. It was a small wedding and they are having a reception in July. The weather was nice and we had a great time. I didn't get very many pictures, Marie was taking care of that.

Jackpot

Since Felicity is walking all the time now she is discovering new things. She is constantly in the drawers and cupboards. (just like her mother was) Today she opened the one where all of her and Kylee's snacks are.

She tried to eat everything right through the package. Now how am I going to keep her out since she knows where they are???
