This is where we were a year ago. On the beach in the Bahamas. Wouldn't it be great to go there every year in March? We Wisconsonites really appreciate the warm weather. There were snowstorms going on at home while this picture was taken.
This was taken when we were still in port at the Bahamas, waiting for the ship to take off again.
There were lots of these...........yum.
And so many good times with friends.
Oh how I want to do this again...

Photoshopping and Angels
I love textures on pictures and have found an awesome place to get them. Shadowhouse Creations. There are tons of textures on there and I recently found a tutorial to get a certain look. I did it over and over on several different pictures. I love step by step tutorials because I have so much more to learn.
These pictures are obviously from last years flowers as I don't have a single bit of green here yet. I know, I know, it's only March in Wisconsin.....
I can wish can't I?
And since you haven't seen Felicity in forever.......
And of course Jack. Already growing like crazy.

Spring?
I've been desperately waiting for spring to arrive here in Wisconsin. The temps have been hitting 50 degrees. There have been people walking around in tshirts and shorts. Not this chick! I need at least 70 degrees to stop wearing sweatshirts.
Brian took my camera out yesterday to capture spring around here. The first picture he took was this robin. Yahoo! That means spring is here.....right?
Then he took a picture of this beautiful sunset. You can see the neighbors barn off to the right.
An old fencepost with the barbed wire still attached to it.
This is one of my gardens in the backyard. As you notice the grass is still brown and there are no signs of growth in these flowers.
Good night moon.
A parting shot of that robin still singing up in a tree, waiting for the sun to warm him in the morning.

Five Generations and a Few Photo Shoots
This weekend we went to visit with the Grandmas. We got our five generations photo done. In this picture Andy and Brian are in the back. Great great grandma Rose holding Jack, and Great grandma Shirley on the right.
This is Jack at 12 days old.
This is my niece's daughter Kallie. Love those natural curls...
And one last picture of Kylee taken for her 5th birthday this past week.

Jack's 1st Photo Shoot
Hello Everyone! This is Tracy, Julie's daughter. I have something to share with you!
Today was Jack's first of many photo shoots.
Today was Jack's first of many photo shoots.
A little background first--About 6 months ago, my friend, Amy, and I started doing a little photography for fun. We bought three nice backdrops, a continuous lighting system, two very expensive cameras and painted a room in Amy's house to set it all up in. Now, we have our very own photo studio! Since we started, we have had about 30 photo shoots and have enjoyed every second of it! One thing different about us is that we take your pictures and you leave that day with ALL the pictures on a CD to do as you please with them! We are having fun that is for sure! Anyways, enough about me. Let's talk about my adorable nephew, Jack!
This picture is kind of special. Jack is laying in my brother's (his daddy's) old Tonka truck from when he was a little boy!

Honor Thy Soldier
Last week my sister posted a story about my Dad and the group of soldiers he is a part of through our local VFW. The Commander shouting out the commands and saluting is our Dad. It was such a touching post that I want to share it with you. The video here is also posted on her blog, but I had to share it again. Please go read her post here.

You jump out of the truck, (with no jacket, wearing your Daddy's hat, and no shoes) to take a picture in the beautiful forest. Wait........
