Kylee loves our dog Chip. They are best buddies.
Here's Patti throwing more wood on top of the pile. She just can't leave that fire alone. She is constantly messing around with it.
And of course the smores were AWESOME!
And here's baby Jack snuggled in all warm and toasty on Papa's lap.
Isn't summer wonderful?
Lol, baby Jack doesn't look too sure about that big fire! Maybe he's wondering where his smore is.
ReplyDeleteToo cute :)

That looks like so much fun! Tell your hubby if he wants to add a little more experience to his daily grind to just hop on down to Oklahoma. We could use some of his expertise!
ReplyDeleteOh what fun! I love bon fires but sadly they are few and far inbetween here in AZ! Love that cute one of Jack all snuggled up! And s'mores are my FAV!
ReplyDeleteNothing like a big smores smile!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures...baby Jack, so cute! We love bonfires too, we have a big pit for them and we love to gather there and do the s'mores thing...yay for summer! Come say hi :D
ReplyDeleteBon Fires are so fun! My son (16) just cannot leave one alone either. He has got to be poking, adding wood, etc. It has been just too hot for us to even light our little fire pit yet. Cute kiddo's!
ReplyDeleteThat screams summer and takes me back to my younger days. What fun!
ReplyDeleteJust got back from our vacation, so I had to stop and say "hi". It was so nice up in WI and MI. Nice and cool. Back home here it's way too hot and humid to have a bon fire. We usually have those in the fall here.....
ReplyDeleteI saw that bonfire and my first thought was s'mores! That sticky marshmallow face made me smile. :) And baby Jack is adorable!
ReplyDeleteOh fun times! We did smores this weekend too!

Baby Jack is so cute Jules! We love our fires here too only we have to wait for fall most of the time! Way, way too hot here right now. I would love the 60's, that's my kind of weather! Love Di ♥
ReplyDeleteLoving smores at this house too!!
ReplyDeleteHad some mini bon-fires at my parents house this spring...the girls loved it. Something very hypnotic about watching a fire.
Enjoy the ngiht
Man, it's sooo long since I've been to a bonfire! With it being nearly 90-degrees everyday, I'm sure I'll have to wait until early fall to even consider it. Glad you all had a great time!

Pocketful of Bliss
We've had only one fire at our pit at the campsite....but we've had some community fires at the central pit that we've enjoyed. It's been pretty darn chilly here in New England on weekends.....fires are always our highlight to the day!!!
ReplyDeleteOh Lawsie Mercie...it's about 105 here with the heat index...I get in my car at 5:45 AM (yes AM) and it's already 80 degrees outside...whew ! HOT HOT HOT...TOOOOOOOOOO hot for a bonfire here!! Glad y'all can have fun with it!
ReplyDeleteI just stumbled upon your blog from Jemm in Flint Hills.
ReplyDeleteJust something about the barn and bonfire looked like familiar landscape.
So I scrolled on down through a few more posts and sure enough, another WI blogger!
Looks like we have a beautiful rest of the week ahead... now to keep those pesky mosquitoes at bay.
Such FUN! We have a little fire pit...so nice to sit around and talk and eat s'mores. My 7 yr old can't leave the sticks and fire alone either! I won't show him your pictures...he will think ours is too wimpy!
ReplyDeleteWow, that is some bonfire! It's huge! Looks like everyone had a great time. I love summer too and can't wait till we have smores soon.
ReplyDeleteBonfires are such a great time!
ReplyDeleteI haven't stopped by in a little bit, thought I would say hello.
Hope you are well! :)
Those picture bring back wonderful memories. I wish we lived in the country where we could have bonfires. Papa looks like he is enjoying those snuggles.
ReplyDeleteSounds fun! I have never been to a bonfire.
