The days are getting shorter.....
The mornings are crisp....
Days on the front porch are gone until spring.
People always tell me, "it's Wisconsin, get used to it." I've been here for 46 years.....I think I understand the weather here.
I know that I live in Wisconsin and it is too cold here for me most of the time. I was born here and actually built a house on land that was part of my parent's dairy farm.
The only way I would move somewhere warmer is if a couple hundred of my family and friends would move with us.
So I stay here and be cold......all for the love of family.
She looks like a little ladybug with a very cute hat.

ReplyDeleteI'd say that's a pretty good reason to stick around. Especially for that cutie in that adorable hat and polka dot vest.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweetie. Who braided her hair? It looks so perfect that way.
ReplyDeleteI love fall. I hate cold. I could never live anywhere there were not four seasons. And I realize that makes no sense. :)

ReplyDeleteI have been here in Tx for 22 yrs and I don't think I can move from here either! You don't miss the warm and I don't miss the snow!! I grew up in snow and I must say, I'd rather have the Central Texas way!
Your granddaughter looks like you Jules, she has the same pretty smile! I almost ended up in Wisconsin, I love it there. Cold or not!
ReplyDeleteLove Di ♥
Very cute pictures. You are so blessed to live close to your grandchildren, cold or not.
ReplyDeleteYes, the only reason I deal with winter here in Roanoke is because this is where my husband is happy and where he chooses to work. My bones ache, but I do love the beauty of the area.
ReplyDeleteSuch fun photos you have today. She's a cutie pie!

ReplyDeleteI would die in Wisconsin. NC is too cold for me in the winter! I dread it every year.
The things we do for family! :)
ReplyDeleteCute pics! Love the outfit!
Felicity is such a cutie pie...love that smile! I wish it would cool off here some...it has been HOT here lately.
ReplyDeleteSounds familiar. I can't stand the cold and while I love my family and Cleveland - I would move someplace warmer in a heartbeat if I could bring everyone with me. I think San Diego is a wonderful city too and if I were to move there, I think I could be happy visiting Cleveland every once in awhile.
ReplyDeleteStay warm this winter!
