Yesterday my son and daughter-in-law went to have a 3D ultrasound done.
Oh my goodness!
He even gave a big smile for the camera. I can tell he was thinking about me rocking him....right? That's what grandma's are for.
I just can't believe it is getting down to the time for him to come and meet all of us. Why is it that when you are not the one pregnant that the time goes so fast?
A few weeks ago I helped Casey paint Jack's room. I wish I had some pictures, it is so cute. I actually was quite creative. We took his new blanket, photocopied the different animals on it, printed off a copy and traced them on the wall. After they were all painted it actually looks just like his blanket.
Some of Casey's family went together and got the nursery furniture. The baby cribs (at both grandma's homes too) are all set up ready for Jack to lay down his precious head for a nap.
I'm glad you visited today to get a sneak peak at our newest grandson. How cool is that?

You jump out of the truck, (with no jacket, wearing your Daddy's hat, and no shoes) to take a picture in the beautiful forest. Wait........

How sweet! love the one of him smiling! My 3-D (only ever one I had) with my 3rd was awful, could make one thing out!
ReplyDeleteI would love to see a picture(s) of what the nursery looks like, it sounds darling. Congrats!
He's beautiful! Congrats :)
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness how sweet!! I love that he's grinning for the camera! I'm sure you're ready to see him!
ReplyDeleteI did not have a good experience with that 3d business. I had one for Jules and her nose looked gigantic. So, from then on, I was completely worried that she would have a huge nose and go through life scorned and ridiculed.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if those pregnancy hormones had anything to do with that drama?
Your new little one is quite photogenic...you guys have nothing to worry about..beautiful!
ps Jules' nose is the teeny tiniest little thing ever. :) Whew!
Aren't those 3Ds the craziest thing ever! It's so awesome to get a sneak peak at your new little one.
ReplyDeleteHe will be so loved!
Another sweet blessing! Fun picture. I marvel at how far technology has come, but even more so at the miracle of life and the Creator who came up with the idea:)
ReplyDeleteKeep up the God work.
Those are so cool! Love the one of him smiling.
ReplyDeleteHoly cow! Even 5 years ago they didn't have this technology readily available and it blows me away! You'll have to take photos of the nursery when you get a chance. I'd love to see it. So dang sweet. I love the name
ReplyDeleteMan, technology has come a long way! No more trying to decide if that the head or little butt! You are so lucky! A baby to rock! He's going to be a cutie!
ReplyDeleteAll I can say besides absolutely precious, is I can't believe how much ultrasounds have changed since I had kids.
ReplyDeleteIt's getting close now.
So very cool! Ultrasounds are just so amazing now-a-days!
ReplyDeleteJack is beautiful!
Enjoy all the rocking that is to come, it's one of my favorite things to do!

ReplyDeleteOh wow that 3d ultra sound is so awesome!! You are so lucky to have another grandchild!! By the way I just listened to the song from your husband ..Beautiful!! I can tell how much he loves you!!
ReplyDeleteHe is adorable! I remember when we got our 3D ultrasound how excited I was about it and how thrilling and surreal it was watching our baby on the screen. It's amazing how they are like normal babies inside the womb and do the same things they do on the outside. Our daughter even "yawned" - it was so cute! So exciting for you guys! He will be here before you know it, ready to have grandma rock him to sleep!
