I am so excited about this giveaway. About 9 months ago my mom introduced me to a ministry she is involved with in our community. She meets once a month with a group of ladies to make "prayer shawls." I decided right then that I was going to start making them.
This fall when one of my best friends came over she was telling me about how her mother-in-law was fighting cancer. I gave her one of my shawls and told her to give it to her mother-in-law for when she felt she needed some prayers. It felt good to give her a little bit of comfort.
They are not only for people who are sick, but for anyone that you want to let them know that you are praying for them. For instance: new mothers, newly married, or any other reason you choose. My mom calls them "Angel Hugs." I think that is a perfect name for them.
So for my 100 followers giveaway, I have chosen one of my prayer shawls. Feel free to keep it for yourself or give it to someone you know that needs your prayers and "hugs."
I've added a couple extra goodies to go with it. A 100 Favorite Bible Verses book, a keychain that says "faith & grace" on it, and a prayer stone that reads: Grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
What does it take to win you ask? Very simple.
Rub your tummy while patting your head, and with your foot behind your head.....say the ABCs backwards.
I told you it would be easy. (send me a pic of you doing that please)
No, for real.....Just be a follower of my blog (have to keep it in the family) and leave me some lovin' in a comment.
I will pick a winner on Wednesday night at 9pm central time, and announce the winner on Thursday the 14th. Good luck and thanks for being my Bloggy friends.

ReplyDeletewhat a sweet beautiful giveaway, please enter me, and I do follow you as well!
ReplyDeleteOh that shawl is the coolest thing.
ReplyDeleteIt reminded me of when I volunteered in a place called the Healing Rooms in Spokane Washington. Sometimes my job would be to go in the cutting room and cut squares of material that had been anointed and prayed over. They sent these squares out all over the world. I would come out of the cutting room high on God and feeling real healthy!
My dad prays that the Lord heals the sick in that same Healing Room in Spokane to this day. They have seen the Lord heal everything from Cancer to full blown AIDS.
I know I am writing a book here but I love this idea and always wanted to make designer T-shirts and anoint each tag and pray over them and call it "Anointed wear" -Maybe I'll just start doing this with the crafts I make...Nobody can ever have too much prayer now can they?
Congrats on your 100 followers glad I'm one of them!
Robin~♥
