I know this is a little late for a Halloween post but I've not been in a blogging mood the last few days. Kylee has been fighting a fever since Friday. I have been a little off. This morning when I got up I had a fever of 100.2, took some Tylenol and now I am good again. We are not sure of the signs of that Piggy flu. I've heard so many different sides to it, who do you believe? Is there anyone out there that was actually diagnosed with it, and what were your symptoms?
Our city celebrated Halloween on Sunday with a parade and trick or treating. Felicity was so darn cute in her monkey costume. This is the kind of costume the kids have to wear here in Wisconsin for Halloween. None of those cute skimpy little outfits. Why do they even sell those in the stores around here? You know you're from Wisconsin when..............you shop for a costume that you can fit a snowsuit under it! Don't let this picture fool you, it was only in the 40s and windy.

Hello Everyone! This is Tracy, Julie's daughter. I have something to share with you! Today was Jack's first of many photo shoots. A ...
Hope the pig flu stays far away from your fam! And that costume is the most precious thing ever!
ReplyDeleteShe looks pretty warm in that costume. It was cold here too! We haven't had the piggy flu around here yet! Hope you get to feeling better.
ReplyDeleteHoping it is not the H1N1...we have stayed clear of it for now...hope you do to.
ReplyDeleteYour grandbaby looked adorable as a monkey..too cute!
Look at that cute little monkey! I had to laugh about being able to fit the snowsuit under the costume. We have been very lucky for the past few years. Not even a coat needed:)
ReplyDeleteI hope you are feeling better soon. I was just talking to my husband about that exact thing. We don't know what is what. We just got an email from the schools about ILI (Influenze Like Illness) What in the world is that?! Fever, fatique, sore throat, cough, lasting 4-5 daysis what it said. Isn't that just like the flu? It's so confusing what to look for in the swine flu.
What an adorable monkey. I hope she carried an banana around!! One of my friends is going to have her son go as a monkey next halloween and her newborn will be a banana!
ReplyDeleteI loved the banana. She was so cute in that costume.

SUCH a cute costume!!! love it :)
ReplyDeleteSo sorry you feel rotten. I wasn't allowed IN to the doctor because they told me that everyone in our county that had the symptoms had the swine flu.
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel better soon!
Oh I hope you all feel better. I think it comes on strong with a high fever that lasts 5-7 days. Chest pain, chills, aching etc...sounds miserable. Hopefully you just have the run of the mill cold.
ReplyDeleteThat is such a darling costume! But burrrrrr! We cry when the HIGH is in the 50's. Very thin blood in AZ. LOL
ReplyDeleteLove the costume. I have not posted about Halloween yet. You can stop by my blog and find out why. Anyways, my 2 1/2 year old was diagnosed with the piggy flu although she was not tested, so I don't know that she actually had it. Her symptoms were fever and just real lethargic. Didn't want to do anything by lay around. Once we started the Tamiflu she was back to normal, that is why I say I am not sure she had it although she has started snorting since she had it, lol!! Hope you all get better.
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute costume!! I have always loved animal costumes for little ones!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute little monkey!
ReplyDeleteThat's such a cute costume. Grandchildren look like so much fun. I totally understand about the need for extra layers for this time of year. Hope you feel better soon.
